FAQ/Eligibility | Perception vs. Reality

We are now selecting contestants to participate in this year’s MISS CALIFORNIA USA® and MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA® state pageant, the official preliminaries to the prestigious MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA® pageants.

2009 MISS CALIFORNIA USA Contestants: Must be at least 18 and under 27 years of age as of February 1, 2009

2009 MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA Contestants : Must be at least 14 and under 19 years of age as of February 1, 2009

To become a contestant in this year’s event, simply follow these 3 easy steps:

STEP 1:
Select a recent snapshot and mark the back with your name and address.
This does not need to be a professional photo however, it will not be returned.

STEP 2:
Complete the application by filling out the form on our website.

STEP 3:
Print and mail your application and your photo to us at:

Once we have reviewed your application and photo, you will be contacted by phone to complete a screening interview. A panel will then make a decision regarding each application, and all applicants will be notified via email regarding our decision.
