Chelsea Gilligan is the daugher of Roger & Lynn Neal of Neal Public Relations. She is a resident of Beaumont and competed as Miss Beaumont Teen USA in the MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA® 2009 Pageant, which was held at the Riviera Resort & Spa in Palm Springs, CA. This dynamic teen competed against teens from all over the state of California. This marks the first time that a MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA® is from Beaumont.
Gilligan is a senior at Packinghouse Christian Academy in Redlands and is carrying an A-B average. Appointed the President of ASB, she heads fundraising programs and plans events for the high school students. While preparing for college she has signed with a modeling and commercial agent & wants to be the first teen to have her own show on the Food Network…. And did we mention wants to be the next MISS TEEN USA®?!!
This busy teen travels with her family Roger & Lynn Neal and her siblings Roger Jr. & Bianca raising money for those with Multiple Sclerosis, giving away power chairs and speaking to teens all over the state of California. Last year Chelsea and her family gave away $91,000 dollars in power chairs. On Nov 8th, in Beaumont, Chelsea and her family gifted a woman from Redlands with a brand new $4,500.00 power chair.
With the many duties as MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA® Chelsea went to The Fred Jordan Mission on Thanksgiving Day to help feed over 3,000 people in downtown LA. As Chelsea continues to fulfill her duties as MISS CALIFORNIA TEEN USA®, she will raise money for those in need.
Chelsea Gilligan, will represent the entire state of California as she competes in the MISS TEEN USA® PAGEANT in August. In all of the media interviews she proudly states she is from Beaumont, CA.
After dedicating her win to God, she has vowed to use this title to help teens across the state of California to get better grades in school, abstain from sex, drugs and alcohol. |
