MEET THE 2019 MISS CALIFORNIA USA®
A beach town girl from the East coast, Erica Dann currently resides in San Francisco, California, where she works as an Operations Business Partner in Google Cloud. Some of Erica's favorite office perks are a rock climbing wall, bowling alley and virtual reality rooms. Erica holds a Masters Degree in International Business, and a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Florida. She cares deeply about the homeless crisis and actively volunteers for the cause.
Miss California USA was Erica’s very first pageant competition, and she hopes to inspire and empower women to embrace their inner "Girl Boss" and let their authenticity shine. In her spare time Erica loves traveling, spending time with friends and family and enjoying all things fashion and beauty!

Alina Rae Carranza is a 17 year old high school honor student, equestrian team captain, a four year varsity track and cross country runner and was chosen a Gary Sinise Soaring Valor team member! Spending several years bi-coastally from California to Washington DC has given her a strong love and respect for the United States and its' history. With an American/ Mexican/Salvadorian ethnic background, Alina has a tender heart for all families. An advocate for childhood blood cancers and a representative for “Be the Match” an International bone marrow registry, she dedicates her time in memory of her cousin Natalia who battled leukemia for several years. Alina’s favorite quote is, “We rise by lifting others” which she strongly believes in.
Alina plans on attending a University in the fall where her love for her horses has helped her in deciding her career path, becoming a large animal veterinarian.
